Zocalo: The Zocalo is the town square in the middle of Oaxaca city. It is filled with large, lush trees, benches where you can sit and chat, colorful, fragrant flowers and plenty of people. It is also surrounded by restaurants and bars where tourists and locals alike get a little rest and relaxation. In the front of the Zocalo you can find a 16th century cathedral and in the back, the municipal palace of the city of Oaxaca.
