Tlacolula: The colorful town of Tlacolula is about 30 minutes east of the city of Oaxaca. Known for it's large indigenous market every Sunday, Tlacolula has become one of the most visited toursit attractions in Oaxaca. Tlacolula is also a large producer of Mezcal which is a home/family made Tequila that is famous in Oaxaca for it's potency and strong smell.
