The Soledad Church: The Soledad Church is a short walk from the Zocalo. On the lower patio, (along Independencia Ave), you can find many icecream stands. The icecream made here is made by traditional methods and age old recipes handed down from generation to generation. The flavors I personally suggest you try are the "Beso de Angel", "Mamey", (when in season), or if you want to try Oaxaca's most popular flavor you can try "Leche Quemada".
