Camino Real Hotel: The Camino Real hotel is located in the Exconvent of the Santo Domingo church where the nuns and the priests used to stay centuries ago. With a variety of patios and gardens that can be found throughout, the Camino Real is one of the most luxurious hotels in Oaxaca city. Even if you are not planning on staying in the Camino Real, I highly recommend you stop by and take a look around. One of the more interesting elements there is the wash basins towards the back of the hotel, where the nuns and priests used to wash their clothes. Check it out.
