Contemporary Art Tour: If you are an art lover, like we are, then the contemporary art tour is for you. Forget going around to art galleries and take a trip straight to the artist's workshops. Meet the artists, talk to them, see where and how they paint, and choose from their most recent creations.
Oaxaca is world reknowned for being the birthplace of great artists such as Rufino Tamayo, Rodolfo Morales, Fransisco Toledo and others. OVG takes you to the workshops of well known Contemporary Oaxacan artists such as Rolando Rojas, Vicente Mesinas, Esteban Urbieta, Saul Castro, Fernando Andriacci, Amador Montes, Ana Santos, Armando Guerrero and many more. Live and breathe Oaxacan art with the ones that create it. The smell of oil paints and inspiration fill the air while you sip a coffee and peruse through the artist's private collections and admire their paintings still in progress.
